These 7 to 8 mm spiders were accidentally introduced from Queensland Australia and is usually seen on walls during the warmer part of the day. They are very mobile and jump from surface to surface.
The difference between the male and female is that the male is darker and has a mat of tan coloured hair within the eye rectangle instead of the smooth dark area found on the female.
