Heterotextus miltinus is an orange-yellow, gelatinous fungus found during August/October (but also after spells of warm rain) on rotting wood in most forest types, but particularly in very wet shady forests.
The fruit body is 10-17mm diameter, 8-12mm high, disc-shaped with a small stem, concave then convex upper surface, glossy, and wet, orange-yellow at first then yellow.
