This cultivar was raised in the Auckland regional Botanic Gardens and is thought to be related to Hebe stenophylla. It was names Hebe ‘Snowdrift’ because the plant in flower looks like it has been dusted with snow. 
It is an evergreen, multibranched bushy shrub that grows to about 1.5 m high and 1.5 m wide.
The olive green leaves (2.5–3.5 cm long) are narrow and spear shaped, with an acute tip. 
late spring to autumn long white or the palest mauve flowers appear on racemes. The later flowers are the pale mauve colour. Trim after flowering.  Will tolerate part shade and is cold hardy.
