Hebe acutiflora is a rare native Hebe with light green leaves that grows only alongside the Kerikeri Falls. It grows to a height of 1.5m with a 1m spread.  In summer it has dense masses of flowers ranging from white to pale mauve.
It is generally regarded as not being a true species but one of a locally occurring 'hybrid swarm' that is not capable of sexual self-replication.
