Kingdom: Fungi
Phylum: Basidiomycota
Class: Basidiomycetes
Subclass: Agaricomycetidae
Order: Agaricales
Family: Tricholomataceae
Genus: Collybia
Species: There are three species Collybia cirrhata, Collybia cookei, Collybia tuberosa,

There only three species left in the Collybia species, this is due to mycologists have placed more and more of the mushrooms in other genera.
These Collybia mushrooms are small to medium-sized, gilled mushrooms with white spore prints and convex caps. The gills are not waxy and thick.
