Project Outline
Midhirst School wanted to develop an organic orchard as a teaching / learning tool. In order to be successful, the soil needs to be well prepared so that the fruit trees will grow and produce well. This investigation will enable the school to do that. Given that Midhirst School largely draws its pupils from a farming community, there is also interest in the outcome of this investigation from parents of children at the school.
