Hebe ‘Wiri Cloud’ is neat, rounded, dwarf evergreen shrub, growing to 40 cm high but there will be some exceptions. The leaves are mid-green, about 12 mm long.
The flowers are pink, fading to pale pink as they age.
The plant can withstand temperatures down to -5°C. Its preferred location is full or partial shade with neutral to alkaline soil that is poor or moderately fertile, moist but well drained.
Jack Hobbs raised this hebe cultivar at the Auckland Regional Botanic Garden, New Zealand, as part of a program to breed hebes suitable for the Auckland climate.
