The Grevillea genus originates from Australia and some of the subtropical regions such as New Guinea or New Caledonia. The tropical and sub-tropical climates are the most appropriate for this flower to develop properly.
Grevillea rosmarinifolia is a many branched shrub (1 to 5 m) with ascending arching stems. The leaves resemble rosemary - narrow-linear, stiff with sharp points and curled-under margins, 0.8-3.8 cm long and 0.7–3 mm wide. It bears spider like racemes 4 to 7 cm long, of pink to light red clusters of flowers from winter to spring. The flowers are rich in nectar and attract nectarivorous insects and birds.
