The Inverey Hebe Is a cultivar from the Inverey Nursery in Dunedin. It is a low spreading evergreen alpine type shrub 10cm to 75cm. This Hebe has sage-colored leaves that are offset by dark purple leaf bases and stems. The leaves are 10 12 mm long and 5-7 mm wide.
The bluish mauve flowers are borne on short racemes about 2.5 to 3cm long. Flowers are produces over a long period late spring and summer and sometimes there is second flowering in autumn.
