Coprinopsis laanii is a delicate, cosmopolitan toadstool that is common in New Zealand ’s lowland
podocarp forests. It appears in autumn. It was growing on wood. The fruiting body of this fungi is ephemeral and it self-dissolves into a black inky fluid. The spores are black.
