Common Name: Celadon mat daisy

Raoulia parkii is an alpine species of a small daisy with creeping stems, forming tight to open pale green mats. It grows to 0.01m high with a spread of 0.3m. Its branchlets are erect. The leaves are broad, 3-5mm long, 2mm wide and angled at midrib, spreading to recurved at tips and closely overlapping.
Its yellow flower heads are small, 4-7mm across. The plant covered with layers of pale-yellow to yellow-green hair (except near base), giving the overall pale green appearance.
It grows wild east of the main divide in the South Island in upland to subalpine open places, rocky ground, in grassland and fellfields.
