Coprosma neglecta a divaricating, weeping coastal shrub with a cascading habit (up to 50 cm tall) from Kerr Point, Surville Cliffs and Murimotu Island at North Cape of New Zealand.
This low shrub has long trailing branches (up to 2 m long) with dense, glossy green leaves (11–24 mm long and 6.0–17 mm wide). The leaves are orbicular with a tapering winged petiole. There is short appressed hairs on the petiole, the upper and lower surface midvein, and apex. Hairs often distributed evenly over lower leaf surface as well as over veins. The orange-red fruit is 6–7 mm long.
