Botanical name: Hebe 'Wiri Charm'
Hebe ‘Wiri Charm’ is a compact, evergreen bushy shrub, reaching 75 cm high and 130 cm across in 3 years. This Hebe has spear shaped dark green leaves 3–4 cm long. Flowering is prolific on racemes that are up to 5.5 cm long. The purple pink flowers appear during summer – autumn and may occur in smaller numbers during winter... The branchlets are reddish.
This Hebe cultivar was raised by Jack Hobbs of the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens, New Zealand, and is a cross between Hebe diosmifolia and Hebe speciosa and is now growing in many home gardens.
