This hebe labeled Hebe aff pinguifolia was photographed at Otari Wilton Bush Reserve Wellington. Aff (affinis) means “With affinity to others, akin to; often used for a provisionally recognized but unnamed taxon considered close to that name, perhaps a hybrid or extreme variant”.
