Raoulia parkii is an alpine species of a small daisy with creeping stems, forming tight to open pale green mats. It grows to 0.01m high with a spread of 0.3m. Its branchlets are erect. The leaves are broad, 3-5mm long, 2mm wide and angled at midrib, spreading to recurved at tips and closely overlapping.<br />
Its yellow flower heads are small, 4-7mm across. The plant covered with layers of pale-yellow to yellow-green hair (except near base), giving the overall pale green appearance.<br />
It grows wild east of the main divide in the South Island in upland to subalpine open places, rocky ground, in grassland and fellfields.
