Mycena roseoflava is a small (5-10 mm high) saprophytic fungus found during autumn in native forests growing on the side or upper surface of fallen branches, twigs and logs. It is common in New Zealand but rare in Australia where it is only found only in southern Victoria and Tasmania. <br />
The rose pink cap is 5-10 mm across. The decurrent gills and the relatively short stem are white to pale pink. Spores are white.
